Our Monthly Meetings

The Monthly meetings of the Calgary Metal Detecting Club are held the First Tuesday of each month, at 7:30 p.m.  at The Brentwood Calgary Coop Store - Auditorium.

Every meeting the club votes for the Best Finds of the previous month - so bring your best finds from the last 30 days Metal Detecting for display. Each Club member can display one item in each of the four categories of Best Treasure, Best Trinket, Best Coin and Best Relic.

  2. BulletRespect the Heritage Act. Do not damage or deface public or private property. Keep all ground          disturbances to a minimum and replace "plugs" carefully.

  3. BulletUphold all existing laws of the Municipality, Province or State and Country.

  4. BulletSeek permission before searching on private property. Inquire of any known valuables and/or keepsakes lost in the search vicinity and return same to owner if found.

  5. BulletRemove all litter from hunt area. Endeavor to leave hunt area in clean and tidy condition.

  6. BulletPromote and foster a good image in the eyes of the public. Strive for a balance between satisfying their queries and avoiding over-intrusion. Do not pre-test organized hunt areas. Observe all contest rules and regulations.

  7. BulletShow courtesy to fellow members and share your knowledge and experience.
